Kanye West accused of hitting a fan who requested an autograph

Kanye West is being investigated for criminal battery after he was accused of punching a fan who asked for his autograph early Thursday morning.

FOX 11 reported that the 44-year-old rapper, also called Ye, got into an argument with the fan around 3 a.m. outside Soho Warehouse, a members-only club, in downtown Los Angeles.

The fan approached West, who was sitting in his SUV outside the club, and asked for his autograph, which led to a heated exchange.

Then the argument turned physical, and West allegedly punched the fan, knocking him to the ground.

FOX 11 reported that West was not at the scene when authorities arrived.

Kanye West and her friend Julia Fox (pictured) were seen at Delilah's nightclub in West Hollywood earlier in the evening prior to the alleged altercation with a fan that occurred around 3 a.m. Thursday outside a Soho warehouse in Los Angeles.

A video obtained by TMZ that was reportedly taken by a bystander around the same time as the accident appears angry, apparently.

He heard a scream: Did you say that or not? Did you all say that or not? Because that’s what happened to the king now.

A police spokesperson confirmed that no arrests have been made and that the Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the case.

Earlier in the evening, West was with girlfriend Julia Fox at Delilah in West Hollywood for a star-studded dinner date after spending the evening with Madonna and Floyd Mayweather.

West was out to sign autographs on January 10, days before he punched a fan.

The group seemed to be in high spirits after Diana Ross’ son Evan Ross shared video footage of them on Instagram.

While it was previously reported that West’s new romance is getting under the skin of his estranged wife Kim Kardashian, sources have claimed that she is happy to see the Donda artist smile again.

West, who is no stranger to controversy, has had his share of bangs over the years.

During the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, he stormed the stage during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video, an award he claims should have gone to Beyoncé.

In 2018, West spoke about his support for former President Donald Trump. Wearing the Make America Great Again hat in the Oval Office, he gave a pessimistic speech to Trump and reporters, stating that Trump is ‘on his hero’s journey’ and telling him he loves him.

But in 2020, West announced that he no longer supported Trump when he launched his presidential campaign.

‘I take off the red hat,’ he told Forbes, ‘through this interview,’ although it was not clear whether Trump’s handling of the pandemic – which Kaine described as ‘one big mess’ – may also have been a cause. .

He also said it was wrong to assume that blacks would always vote Democrats. He claimed that “saying that black voting is democratic is a form of racism and white supremacy”.

West has continued his long-running Twitter rant about everything from the attack against the #MeToo movement and “abolition of culture” to calling COVID-19 vaccines the “mark of the beast.”

Kim initially filed for divorce in early 2021, but was seen by his side for several months to support the release of his new album.

In a thorny interview with Revolt TV last November, which included several twists and turns left, he discussed jokes Kim made about their breakup when she hosted Saturday Night Live last month.

In her opening monologue, Kim, 41, said sarcastically, “When you divorced him, you have to know it’s only about one thing: his personality.”

Speaking of the digs, West responded, “SNL made my wife say ‘I divorced him’ on TV because they just wanted to get rid of that ban… and I never see the papers, we didn’t even get divorced.”

“I want us to be together,” West added, before insisting that “the media” didn’t want him and Kim to resolve their differences.

Since the interview, Kim and Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson have publicly announced their relationship, as has West and Julia Fox, who went out in West Hollywood just hours before the incident involving Kanye and the unknown cheerleader.

The investigation into Thursday’s incident comes less than 24 hours after West was named one of the main acts at this year’s Coachella Festival alongside Billie Eilish and Harry Styles.

The rapper has not publicly commented on the incident.
