Sharon Van Etten, Angel Olsen and Julian Becker announced the Wild Hearts Tour

Last year, Sharon van Etten and Angel Olsen released a smashing collaborative song, “Like I used To,” and proceeded to perform it together on late-night talk shows and select festivals. Van Etten and Olsen join forces once again to hit the road together on what they call The Wild Hearts Tour, and they bring Julien Baker with them on the trip.

All three artists are described as co-stars, and Spencer. It will be the opening. The tour kicks off in July, except for dates at Massey Hall in Toronto and the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, all venues outside. Tickets for the shows will go on sale on Friday (14/1) at 10am local time. Here are quotes from Olsen, Baker and Van Etten:

“I am very happy to travel and play music alongside Spencer, Julian Becker and Sharon Van Etten. It really is a dream, something to keep and share collaboratively as we come out of the last few years. I know it’s something different and special also for the fans, and for me, it’s kind of like summer camp For the Caravan – a chance to get to know other artists in a deeper way and talk about music, life and how it affects us all as we move forward. Most of all, I’m excited to sing live again, in an open and authentic way, on my own and with my fellow flight mates.”
– Angel Olsen

“Sharon and Angel are two artists that I have really admired for many years, their music has honestly told a lot about my writing and making music, and I am happy to share them on stage every night. I think after interacting with their separately recorded work so much, it would be great to learn from them as we share the performance space.” “.
– Julian Baker

“Our goal is to strengthen our communities and foster camaraderie in the world of music in a safe and fun environment. We have carefully selected venues that we believe will provide the best experience for us and our fans. I look forward to Angel and have a deep admiration for Julian and Spencer.. It is an honor, to say the least, to be able to on sharing the stage with these talents on a tour across North America.”
– Sharon Van Etten
